Our waitress, Nicole was the best! She went above and beyond with friendly attentive service! She gave a tour of the restaurant and gave us the history of it when it was Spirits on Bourbon, showing us John Taffer's name on the wall, etc. We saw that particular show and specifically wanted to check out the new restaurant there. Nicole recommended the Gumbo and it was excellent, the best I've had while here! Nicole is a great waitress and she delivers excellent customer service. The Tipsy Trumpet is lucky to have her! We'll definitely be back because of her!

This was my first time visiting New Orleans. I walked up and down the strip trying to find a good place for dinner and drinks. The live music drew me in to the Tipsy Trumpet. Everything was amazing! The band members were clearly seasoned pros and played some of my favorite songs. The bartender, Huntar, gave me five-star service and really went above and beyond to make sure that I had a wonderful evening. The food was so delicious! I ordered the red beans and rice and it came with fried catfish. The seasoning on the catfish was on point, and the beans & rice were savory.

We loved the atmosphere at the Tipsy Trumpet, it is so New Orleans with it's live music with Sam. He was so personable and made us feel welcome, asking where we were from and acknowledged us by our state both coming in and leaving! Our waitress Nicole was awesome!! She was so friendly and genuinely inquired about our visit there etc. Her recommendations for food choices was spot on! She checked on us often and chatted with us during lunch (without being intrusive). She said bye to us when we left and my wife and her became instant friends, with them both hugging each other as we left!
